EDE roadmap

The next big release will be EDE version 2.2. The following features are planned for it:

  • Fixing some more bugs
  • Further improving portability
  • Adding support for internationalization
  • Releasing a first version of eFiler (a FLTK based file manager) along with EDE
  • Adding more flexibility and configuration options to EDE
  • Reorganziation of the build system
  • Improving documentation
  • Adding some new wallpapers

Micro releases (i.e. 2.1.1, 2.1.2, …) are planned which will include bug fixes and some already completed features for 2.2.
